A few words about me
Glad you found me
My name is Franz Hein, born in 1965 in Ehrstädt, now Sinsheim, where I spent a lot of time in my youth with my grandfather, who was a photographer.
I currently live in northern Germany near the Dutch border in the far west.
Beeinflusst von meinem Großvater kam ich schon sehr früh mit der Fotografie in Berührung und habe es lange Zeit als Hobby betrieben wobei sich Technik und kreative Entwicklung mit fortschreitenden Alter immer weiter verbesserten.
Over the years I have photographed many things, but never felt the right satisfaction with my works.
Since I taught myself photography self-taught, it was obvious to study the works of various artists and art movements of photography. So I finally found to my current passion not only
to take simple snapshots—no, I find myself and my work primarily in conceptual black-and-white and color photography.
The often very abstract features of my works reflect in some way the spirit of the times.
My ambition is to create a few, but unique and well-crafted art photographs instead of many.s
